Built in the 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh, this architectural marvel is adorned with intricate glasswork, precious stones, and handcrafted paintings, making it a masterpiece of artistry and design.
The Sheesh Mahal was crafted with a thoughtful purpose. In ancient times, the queen was not allowed to sleep outside but longed to see the stars before sleeping. This ingenious design not only added warmth to the space but also showcased the brilliance of Indian architecture.
The walls and ceilings of the Sheesh Mahal are adorned with delicate floral patterns made of pure glass and gemstones, reflecting a dazzling beauty. The mirrors, sourced from Belgium, enhance its charm, while the intricately designed pillars feature carvings like a unique flower that changes colours when viewed from different angles.
