WHAT SHOULD MY INTAKE BE?
“In simple terms, to lower your carb intake, you need to cut back on your favourite foods like: Cakes, Pasta, Bagels, Crackers, Bread, Potatoes, Rice, Cookies, Breakfast cereals, Sugary Fruits and Junk Food.
Drinks like : Soda, Blended coffee drinks, Beer, Wine, Fruit juice made from concentrate, Many energy drinks, Most milkshakes and smoothies
And more intake of: Vegetables, Fruit, Unrefined grains such as quinoa and buckwheat, Meat: Beef, lamb, pork, chicken and others. Grass-fed is best, Fish: Salmon, trout, haddock and many others. Wild-caught fish is best and High-Fat Dairy: Cheese, butter, heavy cream, yogurt.
Drinks: Tea and coffee – no sugar is possible, Fresh fruit juices in moderation, Water, Lite and/or low/no-carb beer, Non-sugar sports drinks and Berry-based smoothies.
You have to eat the right food instead of less food.
