There is no cheer better than a festive cheer that brings together friends, families and even your furry favourites. 2021 saw another hiatus due to the second wave of COVID-19 and taught us to hold on and cherish every moment of our life and even celebrate it, for there is light at the end of the tunnel. With Christmas around the corner marking the beginning of the festive season, we gather together to celebrate the emergence out of yet another crisis and coming out stronger.
Talking about celebration, we have another reason to raise a toast for we successfully completed four years of this magazine that was born out of our labour of love, our penchant for all things stylish and our yearning to present aspirational fashion stories. Our celebration begins with our cover star — the ever-stylish, ever-cheerful and ever-adorable Parineeti Chopra. The actor, who has proved her mettle right from her debut film and in the subsequent ones, graces The Peacock Magazine cover and speaks about her journey as an actor until now. The anniversary issue also brings together some iconic people and moments who have helped in shaping up this issue. We have Philippe Starck — a demigod of design who gets candid about his design sensibilities and philosophies. Following close, we have Hollywood actor Richard Madden, former editor-in-chief of Vogue India — Priya Tanna, ace publicist Rohini Iyer, young presenter and model Taylen Biggs, sartorialist Adam Saaks, and furry fashionista Tika – The Iggy. Fashion editorials shot at the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, in India, to those at the evergreen city of the US, Washington DC, add to the glamour quotient. Not far behind are the fashion layouts that bring you the best of the trending styles from runway to red carpet. The holiday season is nothing if there ain’t a vacation planted therein. Our quick getaway to the picturesque Maldivian islands was dreamy, leisurely and full of culinary delights.
