DREAMING OF EDEN
Once deemed as an elaborate garment reserved for the empyreans, gowns are now being refined as couture and garb that spells grandeur and luxury. Depicted in great detail and constructed of indulgent fabrics like raw silk and tulle, these gowns are lavishly adorned with pearls, beads, sequins and crystals and decorated with the most intricate patterns of stitching and embroidery. Against the backdrop of lush lawns of the Oberoi Amarvilas, the glamourous designs and sparkling accents make a statement-worthy look. Pastels dominate the colour palette as we see gowns in powder blue, faded sage green, old rose pink, beige, lilac and light golden sashaying down the magnificent corridors. The plunging necklines, thigh-high slits and distinctive sleeves, set the tone for any over-the-top occasion. Complementing the ladies are men sporting the sleek Falguni Shane Peacock blazers and adding a dash of dapper to complete the look.
