Cecilia Carlstedt has been drawing for as long as she can remember. The Swedish fashion illustrator, who graduated from the London College of Communication, has an affinity to marry traditional media such as pencil, ink and screen printing, with modern techniques and technology like Photoshop. Her extraordinary skills are to add value to the material she is working with such as the accuracy of her brush strokes, the fluidity of the colours and the paper material. She confesses that ‘experimentation is an integral part of her working process.’ After spending several years in London and New York, Carlstedt returned to her hometown Stockholm along with her family. But her work is still commissioned by fashion brands and magazines all over the world. Some of her noted commissions include LVMH, Lancôme, Tiffany, Anya Hindmarch, Armani, Vogue Nippon, W Magazine, amongst others.
