Falguni Shane Peacock’s NYFW A/W 2024 collection takes over from the runway to the ever-so-alive streets of New York City. Sport the bold cutouts and exaggerated elements for a chic day look, all while strutting confidently in grunge black dresses featuring 3D floral details, power shoulders, and sequins. For those who are easy on the edgy vibe, take a liking for the fitted short dresses styled with an exaggeratedly large or chic cropped jacket for added drama. Created with luxurious fabrics like cashmere and soft wool, the looks are taken a notch higher with fringes, tassels, and cascading trails. Darker hues such as midnight black and royal blue take centre stage, while champagne ivory offers a more subdued option. The collection showcases asymmetrical hemlines, thigh-high slits, striking necklines, and distinctive sleeves—which are here to set the tone for any occasion that has ‘street luxe’ as its memo.
