SLINK OF SURREAL
The grand Chomu Palace in Rajasthan turns into a picturesque backdrop for Falguni Shane Peacock’s bespoke couture that is inspired by the French tapestry marrying elements of Indian architectural facets like the minarets, archways, and domes, amongst others. The ensembles are enriched with an ingenious display of detailed motifs showcasing the best of Indo-Parisian culture and architecture. From transcribing the innumerable structures of the architectural gem on ensembles to varnishing them with refined stones and pearls, the ensembles reflect the essence of French tapestry in traditional Indian garb. The colour palette ranges from softer hues like champagne ivory, pale blush, pink parfait, old rose, peach whip, beet red and French roast to deeper hues like peppercorn, metallic stone green, metallic pewter, gilded gold and the signature opal whites.
