EARTHBOUND
‘Earthbound’ is an ode to the styles we donned when on Earth. The collection bridges the styles between the yesteryear classics and the current futuristic, an almost pyramidal fusion of many creatures and motherboards of random objects. The story is set in the 80’s time travel to the Earth. Earth being paid a tribute to–it is a celebration of once having the luxury to wear the glamorous wave of maximal fashion that appears straight from the ’80s. Big and bold shoulders, bright colours, and plenty of rock chic, edgy, unconventionally futuristic outfits and statement styles making fashion fun once again. The amalgamation of real with virtual results in over accentuated, highly stylised silhouettes with splashes of crystals, dome shaped diamanté’s, abstract sequins, and faceted beads mixed with the unmistakable rock chic elements, think: reimagined bodysuits and short bodycon dresses with striking cutouts, and unique hemlines–giving it a modern, glamourous homage to futuristic and space age.
