Personally, this is something I follow and it has always given the best results. I love to do eye make-up first and then the skin as it makes the skin look fresh and gorgeous.
Apart from that, I would suggest a couple of must-do’s for the brides, viz. drinking lots of water, always removing the make-up no matter how late it gets and to keep your wedding look fresh and your best. Play with your personality and try not to end up looking like identical clones.
